Principal's Message
Thank you for choosing our college and congratulations on receiving an offer to study here. We view the social and cultural diversity of our students, staff and partners in the professions and the community as a key strength. This diversity has created a vibrant and rich learning environment that prepares graduates for a borderless workplace. Your achievements must be good for yourself, your parents, your future, the country, and the world. To do this requires a wide range of qualities, some you already have, and others you will soon develop. To name a few: devotion; good judgment; hard work; motivation; optimism; resilience; responsibility; self confidence; sense of purpose, etc. You also have to be prepared to respond to the challenges that lie ahead. Try your best to show your teachers (and also your fellow students) that you are willing to overcome difficulties. In turn, you should be prepared to change your life style and mind set to adapt to college life, for example: you should become more independent, more proactive, more tolerant, more open minded and more mindful of things going on around you. Success at this level not only depends on gaining knowledge and memorizing facts. It also depends on how well you can use the things that you learn. The skills you learn in college can be transferred to your everyday life and future. In my view, that is also part of academic excellence. Martin Luther King said “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively” and to think critically “Intelligence plus character is the goal of education”. This is what we hope to offer you at this college. The college is keen to ensure realization of the full academic and personal potential of all students. The staff at this college, is dedicated to help you develop these skills. I wish you all the best in your pursuit of knowledge, and expect that you will go beyond the boundaries in this endeavour.
” Arise, Awake and Stop not till the goal is reached.” With best wishes. Smt. PRAMOD KUMARI Principal
